Next door, Duffin Heights has been building out along the Brock Road corridor since 2012. New construction sounds like an easy install, and often it is, but a builder sizes the electrical service for the house as it was sold, with no particular car in mind.
So in a Seaton or Duffin Heights home we start with the main breaker rating, not how new the drywall looks. If the service has room, a Level 2 Charger Installation is usually a short run from the basement panel through the garage wall. Usually, yes. Ontario's condo rules let an owner apply to the corporation for a charger at a parking space and limit the grounds on which a board can refuse, so the question is less whether than how. Longer than a panel beside the garage, but usually still one visit. The circuit follows the basement ceiling to the back wall and into the garage. If the basement is finished, we look for a path through a mechanical room or an existing bulkhead before opening any drywall.
