Courtice, most rural addresses and some Bowmanville streets sit outside those areas and are Hydro One customers. The company name printed on your bill settles it. It matters because any service upgrade, meter change or disconnect for a panel swap gets booked with that utility, and we line up the timing with them around the ESA permit and inspection.
Price plans do not change at the utility line: the Ontario Energy Board sets Ultra-Low Overnight, time-of-use and tiered commodity prices province-wide, so a Hydro One customer in Courtice and an Elexicon customer in Bowmanville weigh exactly the same three options. It depends on the weeks you spend at home during the day. ULO's overnight rate covers every night of the week from 11 pm, but weekday use from 4 to 9 pm is the most expensive of any plan.
